Coxiella burnetii phase I antigen for diagnosing Q-fever by ELISA

The antigen is used for the detection of antibodies against Coxiella burnetii in the blood serum samples of humans and animals by the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). It is especially applied for the detection of elevated levels of Coxiella burnetii phase I IgG and IgA antibodies and thus, useful for both confirmation and therapeutic follow-up of the chronic Q fever in humans.
